Father Joseph Kentenich

Father Joseph Kentenich, the founder of the International Schoenstatt Movement, died on September 15, 1968 in the reputation of sanctity.

His beatification process was initiated in the diocese of Trier on February 10, 1975.

 

The burial place of Father Kentenich can be found at the place of his death, the former sacristy of the Adoration Church on Mount Schoenstatt, Vallendar, Germany.

People come from all over the world to entrust their petitions to God through his intercession.

The Secretariat

The "Father Joseph Kentenich Secretariat" is at the service of the process of canonization of Father Kentenich. It provides informational materials and offers inspirations for prayer in 29 different languages. Through these materials the life of Father Kentenich and his message are made known to many people and offered to the whole Church.

The secretariat is located at the Father Kentenich House on Mount Schoenstatt, Vallendar, Germany. There are branches in many other countries.
